This position reports to

Finance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

• Direct reporting responsibility to the Division CFO • Leads financial strategic analysis for the business unit and acts as a strategic partner to management in developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies. • Translates strategies into concrete business plans with defined objectives and oversees the planning and forecasting process for RAMA global network of subsidiaries. • Evaluates the financial impacts of strategic decisions, creates scenarios, and recommends appropriate actions for entities and performance layers under his/her responsibility. • Monitors progress, provides insights, and conducts analyses to support operational decision-making. • Oversees and further develops global sales controlling processes and reporting as e.g., customer analytics, sales reporting, sales network planning, forecasting & monitoring, pipeline monitoring etc. • Manages and monitors profitability and cash flow in RAMA’s global network of subsidiaries. • Identifies potential issues and advises management on appropriate action plans and operational strategies. • Optimizes cost structure, enhances productivity, and ensures efficient capital utilization. • Supports internal and external audits in Finance. • Leads cross-functional initiatives to support strategic goals and ensures global standards and continuous improvements in financial control processes. • Ensures transparency in financial reporting and compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines. • Supervisor for B&R Finance Managers. Fosters functional, personal, and professional further development of RAMA Finance Managers. • Develops RAMA international Finance organization and ensures proper staffing and best practice sharing as well as standardization of B&R International Finance Processes in coordination with B&R headquarter Finance roles (e.g. Head of Accounting, Head of Business Finance & FP&A (Financial, Planning & Analysis)) and ABB Finance Hubs. • Fosters a culture of compliance with ABB policies in strong collaboration with CHOs (Country Holding Officer).

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting within an international company
• Strong leadership skills. Ability to guide, inspire, motivate, and develop direct and indirect reports within HR (Human Resources) policies
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting, familiarity with accounting and bookkeeping principles, Demonstrated skills in performance management
• Expertise in operational excellence, process optimization, and extensive project management experience
• Strong understanding of risk management and internal controls
• Competence in data analysis and decision support
• Experience in treasury management and financial resource administration
