As a corporate startup of ÖBB, it is our mission to make the diversity of mobility easily accessible throughout Austria. With the Mobility-as-a-Service (Maa S) platform and the "wegfinder" app, both developed and operated by us, we connect users and stakeholders of the ecosystem. With "wegfinder" you can plan your journey, compare and combine various mobility options, and book public transportation, sharing services, as well as other forms of mobility, directly within the app.
As part of one of our cross-functional development teams, you will be involved in the design and development of our platform. Your particular focus is on ensuring the quality and stability of our products as a whole. We expect that you have a high standard for the quality of your work and develop enthusiasm for wegfinder.

Your Task

Support the entire quality assurance process for both mobile frontends and backend
Write test cases to document the expected behavior of the mobile and web applications
Hands-on testing across multiple mobile devices, platforms and OS versions
Perform exploratory testing to validate the new features that will be included in the upcoming release
Collect bug reports, reproduce and describe them in actionable Jira tickets
Support the release process
Propose and implement initiatives with the long-term goal of improving the quality of our products

Your Profile

Previous experience in software testing
Experience with mobile apps testing (Android & i OS)
Good communication skills to discuss technical concepts within the team
Structured reasoning mindset and attention to details
Hands-on attitude, willingness to go to the root of the problem and looking at quality as a whole, not just appointed tasks
Our tools:
- Android and i OS native applications
- Tricentis Test Management, Charles Proxy
- Jira, Confluence, Slack

Our Offer

We work "hybrid," meaning partially in the office and partially from home.
Our modern office is conveniently located (S-Bahn, U1, Hauptbahnhof, 13A, D).
You will receive a smartphone and notebook (Mac Book) for both work and personal use.
Monthly €50 mobility budget for private use in the wegfinder app.
Best coffee in barista quality.
Very pleasant working atmosphere in an international team.
For this full-time position (38.5 hours per week), the monthly minimum salary, as per the collective agreement (travel agency), is established at €2.082,- gross (14x annually). Don't worry, your actual salary will be individually agreed based on your qualifications and experience.
