We have an open role for Position Title-Senior Mendix Developer with a well-established Group in Bahrain.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex Mendix applications, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Application Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated Mendix applications, ensuring best practices and high performance.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other team members to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
• Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures.
• Innovation and Improvement: Stay current with Mendix platform updates and industry trends, continuously seeking ways to enhance the development process and application performance.
• Project Management: Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Mendix platform.
• Proven track record of delivering complex Mendix applications.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in Mendix platform, including Microflows, Nanoflows, domain modeling, and UI design.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java Script, and SQL.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

• Mendix certification (e.g., Mendix Rapid Developer, Mendix Advanced Developer).
• Experience with other low-code platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and Dev Ops practices.
