This small family owned boutique hotel in Brugge happens to be a part of a large hospitality chain with locations all over the world. Hospitality is their service and their personal touch is their key. Their guests always come first and should always be granted service with a large smile. The ultimate goal is to make the guest feel right at home as soon as they walk into this lovely hotel!

Internship

As F&B student, you will help to fulfil the needs of the guests by serving them breakfast, drinks or afternoon tea. You also assist in escorting guests to their rooms and taking their requests related to F&B. For business guests you will be setting up and preparing conference rooms and arranging/managing coffee breaks. Overall, this is the F&B internship experience for the student willing to learn and grow!

Profile Student

Are you a social, communicative student who has the will to learn and likes to work hard to achieve a high level of satisfaction among guests? Other than that, are you stress resistant and a good team player, able to work together with others in order to achieve tasks and reach high standards? Do you also have excellent English language skills? Then this is the internship for you!

Daily tasks

• Preparation of mise-en-place for breakfast
• Serving breakfast to guests
• Clearing tables and put them back in order
• Escorting guests to their rooms
• Organizing of banqueting
• Helping with the mise-en-place of the afternoon tea
• Serving afternoon tea
• Serving drinks in the bar or on theterrace
• Managing the overall cleanliness of the kitchen, breakfast room and bar
• Managing guest relations
