Role and Responsibilities
The role of the AML Officer is mainly supervising the production, maintenance, storage and utilization of the transaction monitoring tools and centralized databases.
More in detail, the AML Officer is responsible to manage and control the alerts generated by the AML processes implemented in the AML tools:
Transaction monitoring:

The fine tuning of the rules and the definition of the workflow based on PPS needs, agent profiles and new agents; this is made in collaboration with the UK Team.

The elaboration of the process and keeping up to date a tracking historic with all the activities regarding the changes and the updates.

Follow-up on the alerts generated by the AML tools
Customer databases

Review and validate the load and maintenance process of the KYC data

Design, test and run controls & dashboards
Common to all systems

To be the person of contact regarding questions and requests coming from internal teams, UK team, agents, stakeholders.

The provision of business trainings on the tools to eventual new PPS analysts and/or new agents.

Interacting as an expert regarding the utilization or the running. The responsible person will coordinate with the AMLCO and/or Project Manager, with the first line and the supplier and will assist and give support during all the meetings regarding the tool and will interact with IT to ensure a correct liaison between the different stakeholders.
Skills & Experience
-
A higher education degree in accounting, finance, banking or a related field (ACAMS, AML, ORM) or equivalent experience.

Good knowledge of payment regulatory frameworks and AML.

Experience in AML processes (KYT or KYC, sanctions screening)

Experience in business requirements definition and user acceptance testing is a plus.

Experience in reporting to regulators and public authorities is a plus
Technical skills:
-
Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Jira is a plus

Experience in AML tools (KYT and/or KYC and/or sanctions screening)

Languages: fluency in English is necessary; French is a plus
