We are hiring a Application/Cloud Architect for European Commission in Brussels and various locations around Europe.
Main Responsibilities

• Good knowledge of architecture best practices and patterns.
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud.
• Good knowledge of applications design.
• Good knowledge of modelling tools.
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS.
• Good knowledge of business process analysis.
• Good knowledge of JAVA, J2EE development
• Good knowledge of BPMN
• Good knowledge of workflows design and development.
• Good knowledge of UI framework (Angular,…)
• Knowledge of interoperability technology (SOA).
• Proven experience in complex UI interface development.
• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application architecture and design.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.
• Good redaction skills.
• Ability to give technical presentations.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Capacity in writing and presenting studies, to give presentations about the project.

Successful Candidate LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Bachelor’s level or 3 years of higher education
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• at least 5 years of specific expertise with JAVA (min. competence level 5)
• at least 5 years of specific expertise in BPMN (min. competence level 5)
• at least 5 year of specific expertise with AGILE (min. competence level 5)
