Your mission:
As a Network Solution Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and business stakeholders, to ensure that network infrastructure aligns with strategic goals and delivers high performance, security, and scalability. You will be responsible for:

• Design and develop comprehensive network architectures that support business objectives and IT strategies.
• Ensure that network solutions are scalable, secure, and meet industry best practices.
• Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to improve network infrastructure.

• Develop detailed design documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective network solutions.

• Define and implement network standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead the deployment and integration of network solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure and applications.
• Monitor network performance and implement solutions to optimize efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide advanced support to resolve them.
• Implement network monitoring tools and processes to ensure proactive management of the network environment.

• Present technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Work closely with business units to align network solutions with business goals.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Participate in continuous learning and development opportunities to maintain expertise in networking technologies.
• Lead initiatives to drive innovation and improvement in network design and management.

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years in a network architecture role.
• Extensive experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in networking technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and SD-WAN.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
• Knowledge of cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
• Familiarity with network security practices and technologies (e.g., IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs, NAC) is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct presentations and training.

• Open-mindedness and a collaborative approach, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
• Leadership qualities to gain trust and respect from the team and other departments.

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and make strategic recommendations.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.

• Preferred Certifications: (CCIE) / (CCNP) / (CISSP) / Cloud Certified Solutions Architect
