Business Development Manager

As part of our close-knit team, you’ll bring our strategy and purpose to life. Are you excited about the possibility to join our Customised Executive Education team, responsible for our tailor-made B2B learning journeys, as Business Development Manager!
Your mission
- In collaboration with the BU Head, adjust the international growth strategy.
- Acquire new business (corporate clients & partners) in the Benelux, France, Germany, Poland, Saudi & the UK – travel is involved.
- Secure & manage a portfolio of 1 million euro per year.
- Engage internal stakeholders and leverage the school’s strengths (research, alumni…) to build proposals that match clients’ expectations.
- Access relevant networks in targetting international markets and represent Vlerick Business School at business events.
- Generate cross-sell opportunities with the school’s other Business Units.
- Present learning solutions designed with the team’s L&D consultants.
- Have at least 5 years of B2B business development / consultative selling experience in the Benelux, France, Germany, Poland, Saudi &/or the UK.
- Have a good understanding of HR trends.
- Ideally have an existing network of decision-makers in the above-mentioned countries.
- Are able to build trust with numerous junior & senior stakeholders.
- Are fluent in English as well as Dutch (preferred), French or German.
- Are flexible, well-organized, and able to work autonomously.
- Like being part of a team and have a get-it-done attitude.
- Don’t mind flexible working hours and locations. You look forward to joining occasional evening and weekend activities and travelling in Belgium (Brussels, Ghent, Leuven, and 3rd party locations) and abroad.
