Consultant Project Engineer

We are looking for someone to join our dynamic team within our Solutions & Products division, based at our five locations in Sint-Denijs-Westrem, Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, Harelbeke, Poederoijen and Essen. As a Consultant Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and execution of technical projects within the organisation. You will play a crucial role in the entire project process, from concept to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project run smoothly and stay within set deadlines and budgets.

Job Description:

Project planning: Develop detailed project plans including tasks, milestones, resources and timelines.
Project coordination: Coordinate project team activities and ensure everyone is aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Technical advice: Provide technical advice and expertise in project design and implementation.
Develop and discuss conceptual drawings with suppliers until execution.
Budget management: Manage the project budget closely and ensure costs stay within budget.
Risk management: Identify and manage project risks to minimise potential disruptions or delays.
Progress reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and communicate them to stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
Quality assurance: Ensure projects meet required quality standards and specifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external suppliers and customers to achieve project objectives.

Profile:

Master degree Industrial Engineer.
Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and processes.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Analytical thinking skills and attention to detail.
Stress resistance and the ability to perform under pressure.
Dutch, French and English are no problem for you.
