Overview

Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience in data analysis and SQL. Expertise in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Engineering. Proficient in Microsoft Power BI and software development lifecycle processes. Knowledge of security mechanisms and access management.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct data analysis to identify golden data sources, primary and foreign keys to support Id AM (Identity and Access Management) context
Determine which data must be moved via ETL processes while ensuring data integrity, consistency, simplicity, automation, and timeliness
Map new and existing data attributes in the enterprise data dictionary tool
Create and manage Business Requirements for new applications, ensuring seamless integration with COTS (Commercial Off the Shelf) and Saa S (Software as a Service) applications
Design, build, and test dashboards in Power BI to present meaningful information, such as KPIs, as new and stable data becomes available
Collaborate closely with colleagues across various domains and external suppliers to gather requirements for designing optimal and secure solutions
Identify security risks and exposures during the analysis and how the design mitigate these risks
Maintain a strong focus on security while understanding the challenges faced by internal customers
Document designed solutions using company's standard templates
Under the guidance of the Lead Data Architect, build solutions in test environments and ensure the solution goes through all the formal testing stages with our internal customers to obtain sign-offs
Conduct handovers with the Id AM Infrastructure Operations team after successful testing, which may involve providing training, knowledge sharing, and a “cookbook” for operational guidance
Support migration to Production Infrastructure, providing warranty support, including bug fixes and handling change requests
Consider the impact on processes and controls based on the solution designed and design with automation in mind
Make recommendations for changes and may implement agreed enhancements
Always look for solutions, rather than just call out the problems

Must Have Skills

A combination of several of the following should be covered:
At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data context, with the ability to use SQL and advanced Excel to analyse and manipulate extracted data to form conclusions and inform design decisions
At least 3 years of awareness/experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Engineering, including data modelling tools such as ERWIN
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with data dictionaries, lineage, and management tools and concepts, particularly Collibra (training will also be provided)
At least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Power BI development to create reports and dashboards that visually represent KPIs and other key information
At least 3 years of experience in full software development lifecycle product launches, including warranty support and handover to the operationalisation team
Awareness of Power Shell capabilities (to inform designs) for automating tasks and processes in a Windows Operating System environment
Awareness of SQL (on SQL Server and other databases), with a focus on the capability of Stored Procedures to extract, load, and transform database objects
Understanding Logical Access Management and Privileged Access Management and Controls
Knowledge and experience with Sailpoint and Cyber Ark is highly beneficial
Familiarity with or awareness of security mechanisms used across operating platforms and applications such as Windows, Linux, z/OS (RACF), Tandem, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Cyber Ark, Power Broker (Beyond Trust), and Service Now
Understanding of access control and management principles (e.g. segregation of duty, toxic pairs etc.)

Nice to have

Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g. Oracle) is a bonus
Professional certification in CISSP, CISM and CISA, or equivalent is a plus
