We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Manager with a strong background in managing and executing data migrations, particularly in SAP ECC to S/4 HANA. The successful candidate will lead the entire migration process, ensuring data integrity and seamless transition to the S/4 HANA platform. Experience in Salesforce (SFDC) to SAP data migration is an added advantage. The role requires strong project management skills, excellent technical expertise in SAP data structures, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead and manage the data migration from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA and potentially from SFDC.
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan including resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth migration processes.
Data Migration Strategy:
Design and implement effective data migration strategies and methodologies.
Assess current data systems and create a detailed migration plan, covering data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols throughout the migration.
Data Cleansing:
Develop strategies to clean and verify data before migration.
Resolve inconsistencies, duplicates, and inaccuracies in the data.
Implement validation and reconciliation processes post-migration to ensure data accuracy.
Technical Expertise:
Utilize in-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA data structures, including tables, fields, and relationships.
Supervise the use of appropriate data migration tools and resolve any technical challenges.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to the migration process.
Collaboration:
Report directly to the E2E Delivery Manager and Program Director.
Work closely with the E2E Testing Manager and other relevant teams to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in leading data migration projects, specifically from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.
Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
Technical expertise in SAP data structures and data migration tools.
Experience in data cleansing and validation techniques.
Familiarity with Salesforce (SFDC) and experience with data migrations involving SFDC is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
