Overview

Data Engineer and Production Support Analyst with experience in Data Architecture, SQL, Power Shell, and operational production support. Proficient in ETL concepts, and data management tools like Collibra, and Power BI for reporting.

Job Responsibilities

Support the build, testing, documentation, and deployment of the new PTA Production infrastructure, ensuring alignment with the established project while being aware of the broader IDAM data model's impact and requirements
Support the warranty period, then transition to the IDAM Infrastructure Operations team to perform a Level 2/Level 3 production support role, facilitating the handover to other team members
Collaborate closely with colleagues across various domains and external suppliers to gather requirements for designing optimal and secure solutions
Document designed solutions using company's standard templates
Under the guidance of the Technical Lead, build solutions in test environments and ensure the solution goes through all the formal testing stages with our internal customers to obtain sign-offs
Conduct handovers with the Id AM Infrastructure Operations team after successful testing, which may involve providing training, knowledge sharing, and a “cookbook” for operational guidance
Support migration to Production Infrastructure, providing warranty support, including bug fixes and handling change requests
Identify security risks and exposures during the analysis and how the design mitigate these risks
Consider the impact on processes and controls based on the solution designed
Make recommendations for changes and may implement agreed enhancements
Always look for solutions, rather than just call out the problems

Must Have Skills

A combination of several of the following should be covered:
At least 1 year of awareness/experience in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Engineering, including data modelling tools such as ERWIN
2-3 years of experience with Power Shell for automating tasks and processes in a Windows operating system environmen
2-3 years of experience with SQL (on SQL Server), particularly in writing and maintaining stored procedures to extract, load, and transform Privileged Technical Account data
3-5 years of experience in full software development lifecycle product launches, including warranty support and handover to the operationalisation team
At least 1 year of operational production support in a Level 2/3 context, closely interacting with Level 1 support using ticketing technologies like Service Now for incident management
Hands-on experience with data dictionaries, lineage, and management tools and concepts, especially Collibra
Knowledge of ETL tools and concepts
Knowledge on one or more of following technology platforms: Windows, Unix, Network
Knowledge of scheduling tools and techniques for automating routine tasks
Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI for reporting and dashboards
Familiarity with or awareness of security mechanisms used across operating platforms and applications such as Windows, Linux, z/OS (RACF), Tandem, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Cyber Ark, Power Broker (Beyond Trust), and Service Now
Understanding of access control and management principles (e.g. segregation of duty, toxic pairs etc.)
Awareness of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Privileged Access Management processes (e.g. PTA recertification)
Ability to work proactively to prevent potential problems from impacting the overall functioning of the team
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with ongoing changes to related services
Ability to adapt to ever-changing service needs with a focus on continuous improvement
Excellent English skills in both speaking and writing

Nice to have

Professional certification in CISSP, CISM and CISA, or equivalent is a plus
A strong communicator (verbal and written) who is structured and focused on meeting customer requirements
Ability to utilise influence and negotiation skills to achieve defined goals, employing a diplomatic approach to reach desired outcomes
Self-motivated, autonomous, and solution-oriented
Ability to create high-quality solutions while considering the available resources
