DevOps Linux Engineer (FR+EN)

Position: Dev Ops Linux Engineer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Type: Hybrid (2-3 days at the client's office)
Languages: French + English (minimum C1 level)
Context:
The IT team is composed of various units and profiles, including a Dev Ops engineer responsible for securing our application platforms and supporting our developers in migrating Linux servers. This engineer is also involved in several web application projects, making it a key role in our operations.
Mission Objective:
The goal of this position is to strengthen the team by:
- Assisting our current Dev Ops engineer in various tasks and advising where necessary.
- Acting as a backup in the event of the Dev Ops engineer's absence and working autonomously on maintenance and project tasks (with the help of the team leader).
- Providing advice on security improvements and best practices based on your expertise.
- You will also participate in the updates and maintenance of various virtual machines (VMs) to strengthen the team.
Technical and Behavioral Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Linux Engineer expert
- Skills: Apache, Communication, Git, Java, Linux, Security Expertise, Tom Cat
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Power Shell, or Bash.
- In-depth knowledge of modern containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools, such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git Lab CI/CD.
- French + English (minimum C1 level)
