Are you looking for a challenging job in which you will be responsible for following up of our transports on a daily basis? Then we are looking for you!For our site at TML Aubange, we are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our team.
As a dispatcher, you are the liaison between our clients and our logistics team. You ensure that all transports are executed on time and efficiently. You achieve this by taking various parameters and circumstances into account.
A selection of your tasks:

• Monitoring the daily transports and the entire working week
• Giving assignments to the drivers and solving problems they are confronted with on a daily basis
• Checking and following up on the necessary transport documents and driving and rest times of the drivers
• Maintaining contacts with the hauliers, clients and other services
• Reporting the capacity of the fleet to the planning department and coaching, motivating and assessing drivers

What we expect from you:…

• Experience: You preferably have several years of experience in a similar position. As a result, you have gained knowledge and experience in dispatching transports and you are familiar with the various challenges and parameters involved.
• Language skills: You speak perfect Dutch and can express yourself well in French and English. This allows you to communicate with customers and suppliers from different language areas and to work well internally with colleagues from different countries.
• Interest in logistics and/or transport: You have a strong interest in the logistics and/or transport world. This ensures that you always keep abreast of new developments and trends within the sector. This also allows you to think proactively about improvements and optimisations of the planning and coordination process.
• Communication skills: You have strong communication skills. This means that you can communicate clearly with colleagues, customers and suppliers. You can handle complaints and problems diplomatically and think in a solution-oriented way.
• Working together: You enjoy working with a diverse audience. You can work well with colleagues from different departments and countries. You know how to unite the interests of different parties and can contribute constructively to the team's success.
