We are looking for an intern to work in the Global Consumer PR team, based at Radisson Hotel Group’s corporate office in Brussels!
As part of the Consumer PR team, you will be helping us get the word out to key stakeholders in the media (press and influencers), as well as our employees and guests and about our key messages such as new hotel openings or exciting partnerships in art, design and gastronomy. You ideally have an interest in how Social Media and PR can work together to maximize brand awareness and visibility online of Radisson Hotel Group and its brands. This position will report directly into the Director of Social Media & Consumer PR, EMEA. Candidates must be enrolled in a school program to be eligible.

START DATE: September 2024

DURATION: min. 6 months with the possibility of extension
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support with Influencer Outreach Program for the Group and its brands including assisting in searching for the right profiles, managing incoming requests, tracking content sharing, reporting
• Support in organizing individual and group influencer & press trips to our new properties
• Support with departmental reporting including press release distribution and earned media value from hotel openings across both media and social media via media monitoring tools
• Assist in preparing internal communications in support of Consumer PR activities
• Work closely with Social Media team to maximize earned media potential of department activities
• Support with PR actions related to brand activation activities
• Assist in updating company website with press releases and coordinate imagery with external agency including social media banners
• Support in keeping the communications calendar up to date in close collaboration with other key departments such as Corporate Communications
• Work closely with the team including the Social Media trainee on department’s daily activities and create content for our social media channels

A SUCCESSFUL TRAINEE:

• Must be enrolled in a school program in order to be eligible for the internship
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Journalism, Communications, PR, Marketing and/or Languages is preferred
• Fluent English both written and spoken, another European language is a plus
• Good communication and social skills
• Great team player
• Excellent project management skills with an eye for details
• Flexible and cooperative
• Excellent computer skills
• Good understanding of social media and digital communications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to align with company’s and department’s initiatives
