ROLE DESCRIPTION
Purpose of the Position
As Group Internal Communications Specialist, you have an important part in co-building the yearly communication plans and in the successful roll-out of these plans. In this role you engage our internal and external stakeholders with powerful, engaging, and informative content and through compelling stories. By doing so, you build further on employee engagement and position Greenyard as the partner of choice for its stakeholders.
Key areas of responsibility

• Create internal outreach programs to further develop Greenyard’s reputation and bring the Greenyard story to life: leveraging earned media as well as owned channels to deliver creative and compelling (visual) stories – including inventive, innovative, and original formats and events.
• Ensure a close collaboration with a global network of communications ambassadors and continuously build and maintain this network, to gather and identify stories & content for use across the business and all divisions.
• Guard branding and design guidelines and develop materials accordingly.
• Support the communications team, both from an editorial and a practical point of view.

Overview of Tasks
General

• Storytelling & content development in close cross-functional collaboration:
• Develop narratives, key messaging, compelling content and script communications to bring the Greenyard story to life (a.o. newsletters, internal videos, presentations, …).
• Internal communications
• Coordinate and execute internal communication campaigns across multiple channels to build employee engagement.

• Provide our internal audiences and stakeholders with communications & stories that inform, educate, motivate and inspire.
• Ensure internal communications clearly supports and conveys our purpose, vision, mission and values by curating, creating and distributing Greenyard stories.
• Develop and roll-out renewed digital internal communications approach:
  • Magazines, Newsflashes, Newsletters and Digital platforms
• Internal events such as townhalls, management meetings, …:
  • Project coordination, organisation and support
  • Ensure technical and organisational project management

• Community:
• Successfully collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, third parties & external agencies. This includes corporate departments as well as global communication colleagues.

Educational Background/Working Experience

• Master’s degree in communications, journalism or marketing or equivalent by experience
• A minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience
• Experience in a B2B context, food industry or FMCG is an asset
• Internal communications: previous experience in working in an internal communications environment

Language Skills

• Excellent knowledge of Dutch & English (Spanish, German and/or French is an asset, not required)

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Power Point, Excel, Dynamics, …)
• Tools: Mailchimp, Sharepoint (Valo), …
• Extra: In Design, Photoshop, i Movie, …
