The production facility in Aalst is a pilot plant for Tupperware worldwide, focusing on the introduction of new products and technologies, automation and R & D. To strengthen our team in Aalst, we are looking for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our HR department and manage employee compensation for both white and blue collar workers.
As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for the entire payroll administration within Tupperware Belgium as well as supporting different HR-related projects.
Job description:
- Payroll Processing: Accurately calculate and process employee salaries, bonuses, and benefits (e.g. insurance)
- Database Management: Maintain and update payroll records in our internal systems.
- Act as administrator for HR-related systems.
- Compliance: Actively follow up on Belgian labor legislation and social security regulations to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to payroll.
- Timely Payments: Process payroll on schedule to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Employee Inquiries: Address employee queries related to payroll, deductions, and tax withholdings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Finance colleagues and external service providers. Support management in industrial relations (e.g. collective labour agreement calculations)
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Coordinate payroll activities during employee onboarding and offboarding.
- HR administration: employment contracts, addenda and other relevant documents.
- Management of personnel files, including processing of absence certificates, thematic leave and retirement applications
- Various reporting tasks: absenteeism; turnover; etc..
- You have a bachelor degree or above in HR, accounting or related field.
- Previous work experience in payroll and payroll administration is a must, as well as a profound knowledge of Belgian labor legislation, social security regulations and comp & benefits.
- You have a good understanding of payroll software programmes and MS Office.
- Able to express yourself fluently in both Dutch and English (intermediate level as a minium), adapting your communication style to all levels within the company.
- You are hands on and not shy to pick up the phone to clarify an issue.
- Analytical thinking, accuracy, confidentiality, flexibility and team spirit are key to how you operate.

Pay: €4.500,00 - €4.900,00 per month
