Purpose
Under the supervision of the local IT Manager, you will oversee support activities and the management of both local and global IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate any customer complaints or non-conformities to the relevant managers, including the QA & Regulatory Affairs Manager, and submit the duly completed non-conformity form if necessary.
Inform the relevant managers and the QA & Regulatory Affairs Manager of any unusual events or issues that may impact the completion of tasks.
IT Environment Management
- Install, configure, and optimize networks and servers to ensure optimal functionality of the IT infrastructure.
- Automate recurring tasks using scripts, enhancing efficiency and reducing human error.
User Support
- Configure, install, and maintain the PC and printer fleet, phone system, and label printers in line with established procedures.
- Create a mature work environment by proposing improvements to simplify existing processes and ensure consistent application.
- Create and update procedures (PC installation, backups, etc.).
- Manage small equipment purchases (PCs, printers, phones, etc.).
- Perform necessary server maintenance.
- Update and manage the helpdesk system.

Qualification
Education & Degree: The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in IT.
Experience: 3 years or more of equivalent experience for non-matching degrees

Technical Knowledge and Skills
The ideal candidate has experience in several of the following areas:- Virtualisation (VMware)
- Backup Solutions: Veeam, Syncovery, etc.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server (2008+), Windows (XP+), DOS, Linux
- Office Suite: MS Office, Smartsheet
- Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Net BEUI
- Development Tools: VBA, VBS, VB.NET, Win Dev, Web Dev
Languages
- English: Written and read at C1 level or higher; spoken at B2 or higher; listening comprehension at C1 or higher.
- French: C2 level.
