As our Marketing Activation Manager Belgium, you will lead the charge in developing and executing brand initiatives to boost awareness and engagement across the Belgium market. You'll work on exciting projects, from seasonal campaigns to on-ground activations, ensuring our brand stands out in every corner of Belgium.
In this role, you’ll report directly to the Head of Marketing for Distributor Markets, based in Amsterdam, with regular visits to the Amsterdam office to stay closely aligned. Our Amsterdam hub is the heart of our European operations, where we forge strategic partnerships and drive brand visibility through innovative marketing strategies.
As Marketing Activation Manager Belgium you will:
- Develop and execute marketing activation plans to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Create and manage seasonal campaigns, leveraging local Belgian cultural moments such as National Day, Carnival, music festivals, and major sporting events.
- Plan and oversee on-ground activations, sampling activities, pop-up events, and experiential marketing campaigns.
- Negotiate and manage partnerships with local events, festivals, and influencers.
- Ensure consistent and impactful branding and messaging during activations.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align activations with retail promotions and distributor initiatives.
- Coordinate digital activation efforts with the social media team to enhance brand presence.
- Track and report on the ROI of all activation campaigns.
Who are You?
You are a creative and outgoing marketing professional with a passion for storytelling and marketing activation. You thrive in dynamic environments and have a proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies.
Essential skills to succeed:
- FMCG Marketing Experience: 3–6 years’ experience in marketing activation, ideally within the FMCG industry, with international exposure as a strong advantage.
- Language Skills: Fluency in either French or Flemish is required, with fluency in both languages highly desirable to engage effectively with diverse Belgian audiences. Proficiency in English is essential for effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Creativity & Passion: A strong drive for building impactful brands and developing creative marketing campaigns.
- Collaboration & Communication: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, with effective communication skills to foster collaboration and engagement across functions.
- Adaptability & Organisation: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects with a structured, results-oriented approach.
- Event & Activation Management: Experience in planning and executing events and brand activations to boost brand visibility and loyalty.
- Willingness to Travel: Enthusiasm for attending key activations and events locally as well as visits to the Amsterdam hub.
- Additional Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, and a valid driver’s licence.
