Junior Project Manager

We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join VO Europe.

Your mission and key responsibilities:
  • Execute physical and hybrid events and communication campaigns from start to finish, under the guidance of a Project Manager
  • Support in preparing and organising internal project and team meetings
  • Support in managing the facilities and set up of the event (venue, catering, AV equipment, interpretation, etc.)
  • Day to day assistance in administrative tasks (e.g. taking notes, update databases, prepare presentations…)
  • Monitor the functional mailbox
  • Assist in the preparation of narrative offers and concepts
  • Draft copy (such as social media posts, content for website and media campaigns) and related communication materials
  • Coordinate and manage small-scale project actions
  • Support in budgetary follow-ups and monitor margin targets
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Provide on-site / online assistance during events
  • Support in project reporting and invoicing
  • Ensure smooth execution of events and communication campaigns in accordance with client requirements (e.g., reporting, deadlines, invoicing, project documentation etc.)
  • Adhere to the company’s KPIs


You will be a good fit for the role if you have:
  • At least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Finance, business administration, or a similar field)
  • At least C1 level in English (any other European language is an asset)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • A detail-oriented mindset and strong leadership skills, making you a team player.
  • A problem-solving and customer service-oriented mindset
  • You are based in Belgium


Valuable skills:
  • A knowledge of European projects or European politics is an asset
  • An experience in event management, communication, or marketing; experience with social media management is as an asset.
