We are both an architectural firm and our client, among numerous other disciplines in the company and have full control over our product and design. The interdisciplinary teams work closely together to further advance electromobility and give our clients a first-class charging experience.

Your role

As the Architect Lead for the Belgium team, you will contribute to the company's success with strategic and creative thinking, by building a team and delivering station designs for the best customer experience. You will integrate our modular Fastned stations in potential sites near the highway and inspire the team to come up with creative solutions to design and acquire new locations.

• You will primarily be responsible for managing the team of 4 Architects in Belgium.
• Our Expansion Managers will bring in new location leads and you will focus on delivering station designs for the different stages of a project: from initial sketch and site investigation to obtaining building permits from regional and local authorities.
• Our in-house architects detail out the execution package, and you will also oversee the plans and construction details for our contractors. You are expected to often go on site visits with the team to see your beautiful projects being built!
• You will spend time with our local Belgian team and will work closely with our Expansion and Construction teams. You will also be in contact with the other architects based in the different offices in Europe.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for an architect who takes responsibility for the location design team in Belgium.

• You are convinced of the importance of branding & visual identity and you can apply traffic safety regulations to your own design proposals.
• You are goal-oriented and a true team player, able to navigate successfully in complex team dynamics.
• You take initiative and work independently with confidence.
• You are not afraid to make mistakes and you always want to keep learning.
• 'Think like a founder' is a statement you recognize yourself in.
• You have a strong experience as an architect and/or as a team lead, with the aspiration of coaching and managing teams.
• You can confidently discuss projects with local authorities and you have experience with permit processes in Belgium.
• You speak fluent English + ideally Dutch and/or French.
• Bonus point if you've worked with Revit.
• You are highly motivated to accelerate the energy transition!
