- Overall responsibility for the timely and accurate payment of hourly employees at Petit-Rechain and of other employees as directed.
- Overall responsibility and accurate payment of Interim (Hourly & Salaried), including transfer of data with the Interim agencies and check of Interim agencies invoices.
- Overall responsibility of the Time Management system Kronos, ensuring it is kept constantly up to date with accurate reliable information.
- Ensure the monthly reconciliation of accounts related to hourly administration and support the EMEA Payroll & Compliance Manager for the establishment of the monthly and yearly statements in line with SOX and other internal process.
- Endorse the back-up role to pay salaried employees on time and accurately in the absence of the EMEA Payroll & Compliance Manager.
- Keep payroll records up to date as directed.
- Create and provide all payroll, tax and associated reports for the authorities as required and directed.
- Provide all the reports and statistics needed for the monthly closing for Finance, the Work Council and the Safety Council.
- Maintain, coordinate and send files for training subsidies claims to different partners.
- Produce all HR correspondence as directed by the Sr. HR Manager and other members of the HR team, using established templates, on time and with 100% accuracy for Belgium and remain the back-up persons for the Branches.
- Maintain electronic and paper employee files for Belgium and endorse the role of the back-up for the Branches.
- Support the HR team with various projects as directed.
- Ensure and organize HR Administration Induction/training to the new joiners and organize induction sessions for the new hourly employees.
- Work closely with (Sr.) HR Managers/ HRBP to provide administrative support to:
- the part-time workers (Crédit-Temps) process at Petit-Rechain
- Internal communication regarding workers' life events (funeral, new-born)
- the administration and the organization of the medical visits, the blood donations and the vaccination campaign (for flue mainly)
- Other payroll, administrative and project tasks as reasonably required by the HR team (Social Elections, new software implementation, data integration between systems…).
- Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent by experience
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge of Belgian payroll legislation and systems
- Excellent organization and communication skills in English and French. German knowledge is an asset.
- Maintains high standards of ethical behavior

- Strong Knowledge of and interest in Belgian employment law
