The Opportunity:As a consultant with Keystone Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the European Maritime Single Window environment (EMSWe) project. The EMSWe aims to harmonize digital reporting for ships entering, leaving, or staying in EU ports, reducing the administrative burden and improving the efficiency of maritime transport.
Working through Keystone Solutions, you will engage in consultancy missions with public sector clients, supporting their digital transformation. Specifically, you will help implement the EMSWe in Belgium, ensuring that maritime operators can streamline their reporting processes through a single digital system. This project is part of a broader initiative, Bordertask, which encompasses various applications aimed at enhancing border controls via automated information flows. You will contribute to innovative solutions such as Aerotask, Aquatask, and other related systems.
Your Role as a Keystone Consultant:As part of Keystone Solutions, you will:

• Design, develop, maintain, and evolve web applications based on functional and technical requirements.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, multi-user, high-availability applications with a significant public impact.
• Stay updated on the latest technological trends and provide expert advice on how to apply these to ongoing projects.
• Analyze user needs and provide technical support for deployed applications.
• Work on the full development cycle, covering both backend (web services) and frontend development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, providing guidance and coaching where necessary.

Challenges Youll Face:

• You will contribute to the digital transformation of police services by ensuring secure implementation of various tools and technologies.
• A key challenge will be ensuring the cybersecurity of applications and environments, guaranteeing optimal protection for sensitive data.
• You will play an active role in the modernization and digitization of systems that are mobile, secure, and high-performing.

Technical Skills Required:

• PHP 5.6 & 7, Javascript
• Angular JS, Ajax, JQuery
• Experience with PHP Frameworks (Code Igniter, Smarty)
• Strong knowledge of SQL, GIT, Dev Ops
• Experience with REST Web Services in PHP
