Job Title: Contract PLC Programmer
Location: Ghent, Belgium
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Contract PLC Programmer for our facility in Ghent, Belgium. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in programming and troubleshooting Siemens PLCs, particularly within the automotive manufacturing sector, focusing on framing bodyside, weld and grind, and HOP (Head of Process).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and implement PLC programs using Siemens platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve PLC issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
- Maintain and update documentation for PLC systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with framing bodyside, weld and grind, and HOP processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
