Your Role
Compressed air installations are often provided with air treatment installations; compressed air filters are an important component to guarantee air purity in an efficient and reliable way. New product development and innovation is fundamental to support the ambitious growth targets set by the division.

In the engineering competence team filtration of the Medical Gas Solution division, we have a fascinating vacancy for a Project Engineer. You will join a dynamic team of experts who are working together on developing and maintaining state of the art filtration solutions.

As a project engineer, you will support product development from prototype to series production according to the Ct P process. You work out the complete (mechanical) design together with the designer, follow-up with the test engineers based on the project test plan, closely coordinate with the project leader, colleagues from other departments (marketing, production, purchasing, aftermarket) and internal/external suppliers to bring the project to successful completion. You will also be independently handling smaller or sub projects based on needs of the team. You do all this in an international environment.

You report to the team lead Filters and will work hybrid on our site in Wilrijk.

To succeed, you will need

You have a Master of Science in engineering (industrial, mechanical, chemical, etc.)
You have solid general technical knowledge, theoretical and practical.

You are willing to learn, easy to adapt new systems and processes
You are creative in coming up with technical designs and solutions.
You take initiative and act decisively
As a teamplayer you can build and maintain good relationships with external suppliers and internal colleagues
