Alpha Trains has owned and leased locomotives and passenger trains for nearly 24 years. More than 140 employees of various nationalities are active across Europe. Our more than 1,000 locomotives and passenger trains are utilized in 22 European countries.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking a Project Manager with expertise in technical project management, particularly in ETCS projects or railway signaling. The ideal candidate will develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and collaborations, and must be fluent in English and Spanish.

WHAT WOULD KEEP YOU BUSY

As a member of the Project Management team, you take the lead on developing and executing ETCS-projects. You may also be involved in projects for newbuild locomotives
Ensure projects stay on track, meeting deadlines and budgetary targets while achieving outlined objectives
Oversee procurement and manage commercial negotiations for high-value supply contracts with large OEMs, ensuring successful outcomes
Develop roadmap success stories with comprehensive project plans, complete with key milestones assessment checkpoints, and success criteria
Be the engine behind securing subsidies, offering vital support in application processes alongside the Senior Project Manager
Keep stakeholders on track with regular updates on project progress reports and key developments
Collaborate with the talented project team to improve project tools and processes
Coordinate the partnership between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless cooperation throughout the project lifecycle

WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM

A talent for technical project management or a proven track record of technical project initiatives
Showcase your engineering expertise with a relevant degree
A robust comprehension of railway signaling or railway manufacturing is essential for our ideal candidate. We also welcome candidates with comparable substantial experience in diverse technical sectors
Business savvy to manage contracts, stakeholders, and documentation with ease
Efficiently manage multiple tasks, ensuring projects progress seamlessly on various fronts.
Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep everyone on the same track
A talent for negotiation and relationship-building that keeps projects moving forward
Fluency in English and Spanish
