Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team in Brussels. In this role, you will be responsible for facilitating effective communication, coordination, and cooperation among stakeholders within the tribe. Your primary goal is to create a smooth working environment, facilitate continuous improvement, and guide the tribe to embrace Agile practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Follow-up:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
• Ensure smooth implementation of the Scrum methodology and assist the team in overcoming obstacles.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management and help the team achieve the Definition of Done (Do D) and Sprint Backlog.
• Track team capacity and velocity to aid planning and monitor progress.

Project Methodology and Coaching:

• Coach and challenge the project team to promote self-organization and Agile practices.
• Remove barriers to team effectiveness and shield the team from external distractions.
• Serve as an Agile ambassador within the organization, fostering a collaborative and Agile mindset.
• Manage risks and issues as they arise, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Report on the deployment of Scrum methodology within projects to senior management.

Requirements:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience as a Scrum Master.
• Expert knowledge of Agile methodology and techniques, including Kanban.
• Proficiency in Agile reporting and follow-up tools such as Jira.
• Strong understanding of automated testing and continuous integration tools.
• Solid foundation in software development and project management methodologies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent experience.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English, with knowledge of at least one local language (Dutch or French).
