Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Consultant with extensive experience in the banking sector, particularly in lending and credit operations.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Basel 4 regulatory requirements and a strong track record of advising and supporting financial institutions in adapting their lending and credit processes to comply with these new standards.
You will collaborate closely with senior executives, risk management teams, and other stakeholders to provide expert guidance, strategic recommendations, and practical solutions to ensure seamless Basel 4 implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Consultant with extensive experience in the banking sector, particularly in lending and credit operations.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Basel 4 regulatory requirements and a strong track record of advising and supporting financial institutions in adapting their lending and credit processes to comply with these new standards.
You will collaborate closely with senior executives, risk management teams, and other stakeholders to provide expert guidance, strategic recommendations, and practical solutions to ensure seamless Basel 4 implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Basel 4 regulations with a focus on lending and credit risk management.
- Advise banking clients on regulatory compliance strategies related to Basel 4, helping them to align internal processes and systems with new requirements.
- Assess and analyze clients' current lending and credit frameworks, identifying gaps and areas of improvement for Basel 4 compliance.
- Provide strategic insights and recommend solutions to help clients effectively implement Basel 4 standards while maintaining operational efficiency.
- Support clients in developing and optimizing policies, procedures, and risk models to meet Basel 4 capital adequacy, liquidity, and credit risk requirements.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, and presentations for key stakeholders within client organizations to build awareness and understanding of Basel 4 impacts.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the banking sector, with specific expertise in regulatory consulting, lending, and credit risk.
- Preferable an extensive knowledge of Basel 4 regulations and their impact on banking operations, particularly in the areas of lending and credit.
- Proven track record of successfully advising and supporting financial institutions in regulatory compliance initiatives, preferably including Basel 3/4.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management, capital adequacy frameworks, and banking regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into actionable business strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level stakeholders within financial institutions.
- Experience in project management and leading regulatory implementation projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager), PRM (Professional Risk Manager), or CFA.
- Experience in working with global or multinational banks.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting tools and risk management software.
