The expansion of the Strategy Department means we are now looking to recruit a new Senior Strategy Manager in Visé, Belgium and reporting to the Director of Business Strategy.

As Senior Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the daily operations of the Strategy Business Unit and its team, while driving the development and execution of long-term business strategies and overseeing the Knauf strategy portfolio and transformation projects.

As Senior Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the management of the daily operations of the Strategy Business Unit and its team, while driving the development and execution of long-term business strategies and overseeing the Knauf strategy portfolio and transformation projects.
More specifically, your responsibilities include:

Daily Operations & Team Management:
- Lead the daily operations of the Strategy Business Unit, ensuring seamless coordination and effective execution of projects.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team, including a Business Analyst Manager, Business Process Transformation Manager, Marketing Intelligence Specialist, and Junior Business Analyst.
- Oversee team performance, resource allocation, and professional development, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.

Strategy Development & Execution:
- Lead the development and execution of the business strategy in close collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Oversee long-term planning processes and ensure the delivery of actionable strategic initiatives to meet business growth targets.

Portfolio Management:
- Manage the Knauf Strategy portfolio, ensuring timely execution of key strategic projects and transformation initiatives.
- Establish governance structures to track project progress, manage risks, and ensure delivery of results.

Transformation & Change Management:
- Lead the implementation of large-scale transformation projects, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving innovation.
- Manage change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions and the adoption of new systems and processes.

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategic priorities.
- Present regular updates on strategy, performance metrics, and project progress to executive leadership.

You also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- MBA or advanced degree in Strategy or related field is highly desirable.
- 8-10 years of experience in strategy development, corporate planning, or business consulting, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a high-paced environment.
- Background in financial strategy and project management, ideally with experience in strategy or management consulting firms
- Familiarity with the insulation industry or building materials sector is a plus but not required.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with French or German being a plus, and proficiency in other European languages considered an asset.
