Job Title:
Service Engineer Be Ne Lux

Job Description:
As a Service Engineer for Be Ne Lux, you will perform on-site technical interventions (mainly within the Benelux and occasionally beyond). Your clients are international, dynamic companies from diverse industries, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, metal, and food sectors. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems within the explosion protection range, assembling and disassembling electrical equipment. Alongside maintaining current installations, you’ll also be involved in renewing and expanding them. Clients rely on you for all kinds of technical inquiries. This role allows you to develop yourself technically, as it combines tasks typically handled by maintenance technicians and troubleshooting technicians.

You report to the Team Leader and join a Service Team with approximately five direct colleagues.

Profile:
You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics. Additional training or experience in IT, VCA, or process technology is an advantage.
Prior experience in a similar role is a strong asset (experience in a different sector is welcome).
You are customer-oriented, mature, and have a strong drive to achieve results. You are eager to learn and motivated to develop as a technical expert. Solving technical issues brings you satisfaction.
You demonstrate resilience and flexibility (this is not a 9-to-5 job: you may be called upon at night or on weekends; every fifth week, you are on standby duty). Working independently abroad doesn’t faze you; in fact, you enjoy it.
You are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written. Additional French language skills are a strong plus. A valid driver’s license (B) is required.
