In Belgium the scope of E&PS FM includes the sites in Beerse, Geel, Olen, La Louvière, Courcelles and Ghent.
In Ghent J&J is operating CAR-T: chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy. This is a new and innovative approach to eliminate cancer cells. It works by harnessing the power of a patient’s own immune system. That power is created from the patients’ own T cells and is engineered to eliminate cancer cells expressing a specific antigen.
The Ghent E&PS FM team manages the critical installations and facilities and utilities (steam, cooling installations, heating equipment, water systems, compressed air, high voltage, …) of/for the Ghent manufacturing hubs. To join, assist and support the team the EP&S FM team in Ghent is recruiting a maintenance shutdown lead for the 2 production sites in Ghent. The position will be based in Ghent, Belgium however requiring close collaboration with the E&PS FM team based in Beerse
What you will be doing:

• Acts as the shutdown coordinator for the E&PS FM Car T team, responsible for:- preparing and planning the routine maintenance tasks of E&PS FM Car T;
• validation and calibration scheduling during and outside shutdown periods;
• having the overview of all shutdown related improvement and housekeeping projects of E&PS FM Car T and schedule them accordingly and appropriately;
• overall shutdown planning which also includes all shutdown activities of other departments, cleaning & start-up;

chairman/woman of shutdown meetings (preparation, during, after);

• E&PS FM Car T SPOC for all shutdown related matters;
• works closely with the entire E&PS FM Car T team. A fit in in this powerful team is crucial for the operational effectiveness of this team;
• works closely with all E&PS FM Car T stakeholders to establish a planning that is supported by the entire organization.
• works according to strict safety and quality procedures and handles the related administration (work orders, work permits, checking logbooks, ...) meticulously.

• continuous improvement of processes and installatio
• Manages maintenance plans and procedures together with the facility coordinators, the project engineer, the process controls specialists, the compliance teams and the validation and calibration engineers.

Qualifications

2. Requirements:

• You hold an engineering degree or a technical bachelor's degree, both coupled with some years of relevant experience in a technical position.
• You are highly communicative both written and spoken.
• You are innovative and have a pragmatic outlook.
• Analytical problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical issues.
• Having experience in shutdown planning is a plus.
• You know CMMS(SAP).
• MS project or other planning platforms have no secrets for you.
• Knowledge of energy and utilities, water systems and HVAC is an asset.
• Knowledge of GMP, as well as requirements around compliance is a plus.
• You work well with internal partners (EHS², quality, engineering, ...) and external partners (contractors, sector organizations, ...)
• You are flexible and results-oriented and can work independently to achieve certain objectives.
• You know how to deal with continuously meeting tight timelines. You are eager to learn, motivated and extremely stress resistant.
• You are willing to accept peak loads that manifest themselves in long days and long weeks and this several times per year (the shutdowns).
• You possess an outspoken ‘can do’ mentality.
• You take the initiative and, besides being an independent employee, you are a real team player who, together with colleagues, achieves results and contributes to a pleasant working atmosphere.
• Besides having a perfect command of Dutch, you speak and write English fluently.
