Your missions?

• Lead sustainability initiatives: Support our General Manager and Heads of Departments in implementing and promoting the hotel's environmental and social sustainability strategies.
• Innovate operational practices: Identify, develop, and implement sustainable practices focusing on key areas like energy, water, plastic, chemical, and food waste reduction.
• Coordinate and communicate: Be the go-to person connecting different departments to ensure our sustainability projects succeed.
• Engage and inspire: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote green behaviors among guests and staff and help lead sustainability training sessions.
• Monitor and report: Keep track of our sustainability performance and share updates through meetings, presentations, and online tools.
• Implement practices: Develop and implement sustainable operational practices, focusing on reducing energy, water, plastic, chemicals, and food waste. Specific tasks include:

Accountability, support, and training

• Point of contact: Act as the hotel's sustainability coordinator, driving progress towards our sustainability targets and improving overall performance.
• Cross-department collaboration: Work with different departments to bring social and environmental sustainability projects to life.
• Liaison with management: Report to the General Manager and work closely with Heads of Departments to integrate sustainability into various operations.
• Network and training: Receive support from the Pandox Sustainability Team and join a network of Sustainability Coaches across our hotels. Participate in both online and face-to-face training sessions throughout the year.

Your ideal profile?

• Fluent in English and French: Confidently communicate in both languages.
• Strong interest in Sustainability: Previous experience in sustainability is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Student with a six-month internship agreement starting as soon as possible.
• Hospitality knowledge: Good understanding of hotel operations with a genuine desire to make a positive impact.
• Tech-savvy: Proficient in using Word, Power Point, Excel, and other IT tools.
• Strong communicator: Able to engage with colleagues across all levels and departments.
• Change maker: Identify and implement operational changes, inspiring and supporting others to embrace sustainability.

• Independent and collaborative: Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
