We currently have a vacancy for a Systems Engineer (Java) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Assistance with evaluating and testing Digital Workplace components (applications, security components and principles);
• Identification, validation and deployment of solutions in the Digital Workplace environments;
• Technical assistance in identifying and solving technical issues;
• Definition of test plans and test cases;
• Construction of test scenarios and scripts and execution/ coordination of tests;
• Assistance with production deployment tasks and in training administrators and users;

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 7 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Extensive experience with validation of Java Enterprise technologies, Microservices Architecture, Kafka infrastructures;
• Strong knowledge of public procurement business processes;
• Excellent knowledge of large-scale Digital Workplace administration, including operational monitoring, telemetry, update/patch management, configuration change management;
• Knowledge of Request for quotation, Submission and Evaluation, Awarding business processes;
• Certifications in Agile scrum foundation or Agile scrum practitioner are mandatory;
• Excellent command of the English language.
