Work in the world of Porsche Motorsport
As our Technical Manager at Prospeed, you will manage a small group of technicians to assist our clients (race teams mostly in the Benelux) on and off track in case of technical problems with their Porsche race cars. As the main contact point for technical inquiries, you will research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues in an accurate and timely manner.
As part of the organization, you will be travelling to race events in the Benelux and beyond. Besides assisting the customers in urgent matters, you will also report any technical failures and trace incidents.
Furthermore, at events, you will be part of the event organization and assist the operations with budget responsibility.
In between the race events, your work will continue in our workshop where the focus is not only on racecars but also on track day racers and classic cars.
Prospeed is the company behind the organization of the official Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux and Southern Europe and Porsche Endurance Trophy Benelux with a filled program of +- 20 race events per year during the weekend and the work week. These events are held in the Benelux and abroad.
Profile:
· Automotive or Motorsport Engineering studies.
· High standard of work and attention to detail.
· Experience in leading a team of technicians.
· Problem-solving capabilities.
· Commercial mindset and ability to service existing and new clients.
· Mechanical background is a plus.
· Experience in motorsport is a plus.
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
