Your mission:
As Solution Architect at bpost, you will work closely with the Release Truck Engineer and Product Owner to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that support bpost’s evolving infrastructure. You will:

Translate business drivers into well-functioning technical solutions.
Define technical and architectural designs that align with business and infrastructure needs.
Act as a key decision-maker for secure, scalable design and architecture.
Plan and develop architectural runways for projects, coordinating with relevant teams.
Collaborate with Agile teams to ensure consistency and strategy alignment.
Provide solution support during Agile ceremonies, ensuring technical designs are communicated effectively.
Drive adoption of knowledge components for solution applications.
Enable continuous delivery pipelines using state-of-the-art technologies.

Your profile:
At bpost, diversity is key to our success. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds who possess the following skills:

Minimum of 7 years as Solution Architect and 5 years in Agile methodology.
Strong technical expertise with the ability to create innovative solutions.
Proven strategic thinking and analytical skills to challenge and inspire the business.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with experience driving cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
Proven experience in architecture/design modelling techniques and best practices
Proven experience on public cloud designs/architectures (AWS, Azure). Hybrid cloud/on-premise and multicloud scenario experience is a plus.
Strong Knowledge on Java (JEE/Springboot), node JS (Typescript)
Good Knowledge of Service Oriented and Event Driven Architectural style as well as related technologies like web services, REST/JSON, SOAP/XML, AVRO, security standards, ...
Good Knowledge on front end technologies including web frameworks like Angular as well as multichannel and micro-frontend style patterns and technologies.
Good Knowledge on modern data persistence solutions including but not limited to RDBMS (like Postgres, Oracle), Document DB, Key Value Stores
Strong Knowledge and general awareness of security standards and best practices
Knowledge on mobile (IOS/Android) design/architecture is a plus.
Good knowledge of SDLC best practices including CI/CD. Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops and continuous delivery is an asset.
Proficiency in English and at least one local language (Dutch/French)
