Team Overview and Job responsibilities:

We are looking for an Engineering Analyst to join our team.

Based in Sorocaba, Brazil, you will work on technical specifications, design, documentation and execution of projects or development of products and their accessories.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Participate in the planning, studies and development of projects for products, accessories and other system components.

2. Participate in the definition, together with internal and external customers, of the data and technical information necessary for the correct execution of the system and product project. Technically supporting the studies and methodologies to correctly meet customer specifications and current standards.

3. Assist in the activities of: Providing technical consultancy, project and product evaluations. Issuing technical opinions and technical reports.

5. Assist in carrying out technical and technological surveys, identifying needs for improvements and enhancements to products, processes and procedures. Pointing out technology trends in the market that provide increased quality, rationalization and cost reduction, aiming to meet the needs of the company and its customers.

6. Assist in the activities of: specifying equipment, developing prototypes and new materials, designing accessories, monitoring processes and developing methods to meet the system and product design requirements and testing the product. Monitor the manufacturing, testing and trials of prototypes, as well as analyze and technically report the results. Act as an interface with the various sectors involved to make any technical adjustments in order to correctly implement the project parameters used in manufacturing. Issue a correlation report of these parameters to validate and/or review the initial parameters.

7. Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of the behavior of the variables of product projects, to ensure the compatibility of the results with the specifications.

8. Participate in qualification, certification and approval activities for products, materials and accessories. Assist in conducting the technical qualification and approval process of new suppliers together with other sectors involved.

9. Issue reports regarding technical and operational occurrences in the studies and/or implementations/modifications carried out, keeping teams and other professionals involved aware of the recommended actions.

10. Assist in the preparation and review of quality manuals, procedures, standards and technical specifications. Assessment of methods, processes, and characteristics of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tests, in accordance with current legislation, technical standards, and guidelines previously established by the client.

11. Monitor and assess the behavior of product design variables to ensure that results are compatible with specifications.

12. Prepare technical documentation and technical opinions, as well as update manuals through studies, data collection, and operational training programs.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and motivations:

Studying the final year or recently graduated in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Production Engineering
Experience in research and development will be a plus
Advanced English
