Job Description
Are you an experienced Insurance Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with a global leader? Look no further! We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Insurance Manager to lead our non-life insurance operations for all business units in Brazil.
As the Insurance Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on insurance matters to our local business units and senior leadership. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the effective and efficient provision of insurance management to our DHL Group Brazilian trading entities. In this role, you will have direct reports and be responsible for leading and developing a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement insurance strategies in alignment with the global Insurance Job Family.
- Deliver training and education to promote awareness of insurance coverage and obligations.
- Execute non-life insurance renewal processes, including budget advice and data collection.
- Maximize our market share within the territory by aligning with global programs or arranging local placements.
- Stay updated on external insurance market conditions and articulate the value proposition of our Insurance strategy.
- Drive continuous improvements in process and service delivery to reinforce our Provider of Choice status.
- Collaborate with other IRM functions, GBS Service Lines, and Business Unit stakeholders to optimize our offerings.
- Lead and develop a team of direct reports.
- University degree and/or professional qualification in insurance or business management.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in insurance within a global multinational insurance company, broker, or in-house risk function.
- Proven track record in developing and leading teams in a multinational environment.
- Strong data analytics, project management, and workload management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Full professional proficiency in written and oral English.
- Extensive knowledge of Power Point, Word, and Excel.
