Internal Controls Analyst

About the team:
The ICS team is working collaboratively (Country, Division, Region and Corporate) to ensure effective internal control and processes effectiveness.
This teamwork strengthens our controls and enhances overall process efficiency.

What you can look forward to as Internal Controls Analyst:

• Complete all work papers in accordance with ICS Corporate guidelines and best practices.
• Evaluation of current policies and procedures across the organization.
• Make recommendations to minimize risk and best comply with ZF ICS standards.
• Performs business process walkthroughs and control owner interviews and makes determinations/recommendations for the preparation and/or revision of ICS controls documentation.
• Identifies internal control gaps in business processes or systems and makes determinations and/or recommendations to enhance internal controls and to achieve better process efficiencies.
• Provides feedback to control owners around internal controls, assessments, remediation, and documentation.
• Contributes to the ongoing efforts to standardize, streamline and enhance existing ICS control documentation to meet increased regulatory requirements.
• Assists with annual and periodic risk assessments of the ICS, updates documentation appropriately and report assessments.
• Acts as a liaison with control owners, internal auditors and external auditors where applicable.
• Ensure implementation of and compliance with ZF So D (segregation of duties) methodology.
• Provide advice to the business throughout the ICS process to continually enhance internal controls.
Identify and document breaks in operating effectiveness.

Your Profile as Internal Controls Analyst:

• Complete University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related areas. MBA is a plus;
• Advanced English and knowledge in Spanish is a plus;
• Advanced Microsoft skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point and Power BI;
• Good understanding of accounting and audit principles;
• Able to travel domestically among the plants - 20%;
• This position reports direct do the GRC Manager Americas (US) and dot line to the CFO (Brazil).
