Main Responsibilities:

• Odds Compilation: Assist in setting and monitoring pre-match and in-play odds for various sports events.
• Event Monitoring: Keep track of live sports events and update odds in real-time based on game progress and other factors.
• Market Management: Ensure the accuracy and competitiveness of betting markets, making adjustments when necessary to reflect live conditions.
• Risk Management: Help assess and manage trading risk by monitoring betting activity and adjusting pricing to minimize potential liabilities.
• In-Play Trading: Support the in-play trading process, including the adjustment of odds based on live event developments.
• Market Research: Stay updated with sports news, trends, and performance data to make informed trading decisions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior traders, data analysts, and other departments to ensure smooth sportsbook operations.
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on market performance, trading activities, and potential risks.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Passion for Sports: A strong interest in sports, with knowledge of various sports leagues, teams, and players.
• Numerical Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to quickly process data and make informed decisions.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on details, ensuring accuracy in odds settings, market management, and risk assessments.
• Quick Decision Making: Comfortable making quick decisions under pressure, especially during live events.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills in English (and Portuguese if applicable).
• Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as sports events may occur outside of regular office hours.
• Tech-Savvy: Basic knowledge of sportsbook platforms, odds calculation, and trading tools is a plus.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset, working well within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Persons who have or may have any influence on the outcome of a real event with a sports theme subject to fixed-odds lottery betting, including:
• Persons holding positions as sports directors, sports coaches, trainers, and members of the technical staff;
• Referees of sports, referee assistants, or equivalents, sports entrepreneurs, agents or representatives of athletes and coaches, coaches or members of the technical staff;
• Members of the administrative or supervisory body of entities responsible for organizing competitions or sporting events;
• Athletes participating in competitions organized by entities within the National Sports System;
