The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join the Gateway`s team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database structures, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and a passion for developing intuitive and impactful data visualizations. This role requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong preference for candidates with knowledge in the insurance industry. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Visualization: Develop, design, and maintain compelling Power BI reports and dashboards that provide meaningful insights and help drive business decisions.

• Database Understanding: Analyze complex datasets, understand the underlying database structures, and translate data into coherent reports.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and translate them into data models and visualizations.

• Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency across various platforms.

• Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Power BI solutions to ensure they meet the needs of the business.

• Training & Documentation: Provide training to end-users on Power BI solutions, and maintain comprehensive documentation of reports, data sources, and processes.

• Compliance & Security: Ensure all data solutions adhere to data governance, security policies, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Power BI Developer or in a similar role.

• Proven track record in creating and managing complex Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Strong understanding of database structures, SQL, and data modeling.

• Expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M language for data transformation.

• Experience with data integration and ETL processes.

• Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspaces, sharing, and publishing reports.

• Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to clearly articulate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik View.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for data storage and management.

• Certification in Power BI or related technologies.

• Experience in the insurance industry.

About the role:

• Full-time job - 40h/week.
