The Production Planning Control Coordinator is responsible to support commercial strategy by decreasing Supply Chain time of response to re-launches and new products and to lead the production planning process providing a set of criteria to follow in the design, development and implementation of Synchronized Demand and Supply Strategy to ensure compliance of purchasing policies, logistics and inventory models for raw and pack materials supply. Assure that the SAP system is run.


What you will do:

• Ensure compliance on time of new products grid, define the timeline for Net Ops, monitor the activities required and coordinate the transitions of discontinued products in order to reduce the SLOBs
  
• Ensure compliance of new products launch and portafolio according to pre and post launch analysis , simplification strategy , CMS strategy and CS&L golden rules
  
• Assure implementation of simplification strategy according to keep simplification dashboard for all categories. Monitor activities to comply with the Goal
  
• Gatekeeper for master data , APO / PPDS or ECC issues regarding production planning or new products produced in plant
  
• Review of slow moving and obsolete materials and define with each team the actions necessary to control them.
  
• Support SD&S meeting and monitor weekly each production planning KPI's
  
• Manage inventories of local Finished Goods, Raw Materials and Packing Materials within established levels in order to meet financial targets.
  
• Coordinate the implementation of new tools for production planning and ensure the proper use of existing ones
  
• Support and execute all SAP system trials that involve production planning
  
• Preparation of weekly, monthly or quarterly reports required
  
• Participation in EHS, Quality and FP&R initiatives.
  

Job Functions:

• Lead weekly meeting with all areas as needed
  
• Monitor and follow up the activities required to launch a new product
  
• Attend Managers Meeting
  
• Ensure effective compliance of Production Planning Standard and 100% SDP
  
• Coordinate the transitions of discontinued products in order to reduce the SLOBs
  
• Make Production Planning weekly report
  
• Attend demand Planning Meeting
  
• Coordinate the implementation of new tools for production planning and ensure the proper use of existing ones
  
• Coordinate and consolidate the review of parameters to be used in the preparation of production plans (CTI Optimizer)
  
• Coordinate and consolidate the review of safety stocks, MOQ, for each R&P, Playbook and Planning Optimizer results meeting
  
• Generate, review and consolidate a SLOB's report
  
• Support the production planning team in all plants
  
• Attend MYR review and COS (Latam Divisional Meetings)
  
• Analyze inventory report and make GAP analysis and action plan
  
• Assure implementation of simplification strategy . Monitor activities to comply with the Goal
  
• Ensure the master data integrity used in develop of production plans and procurement of materials
  
• Generate, review and consolidate a CTI report
  
• Review of slow moving and obsolete materials,Attend and Prepare SLOBs Meeting and define with each team the actions necessary to control them.
  
• Attend EHS, Quality and FP&R audits as required according to position.
  
• Make sure the policies of purchasing, logistics and inventory models to ensure the supply of materials for production.
  
• Update parameters in the system for each R&P material and local FG products and data check
  
• Support the implementation of CEB and FTG projects on time
  
• Execute system trials and test for production planning according to requests
  

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, planning, or related field required
  
• Solid experience in a manufacturing environment (CS&L, Logistics,Supply chain,Procurement, etc)
  
• Planning experience
  
• SAP/APO system experience required
  
• Quantitative reasoning skills to inform data driven decisions
  
• Adaptable to navigate ambiguity and apply decisive critical thinking skills
  
• Proficiency with Google applications (Sap Script, Google Sheets and Data Analytics)
  
• At least Intermediate English Level
