As part of our End Fitting Research and Development department, you take part in a range of tasks, where you can leverage your skills as designer to succeed. These tasks include new and innovative solutions, design of components, verification, and documentation of R&D projects.
Responsibility is to support engineers to reach new End-fitting solutions and qualification, design, and drawings for the components.
Key responsibilities:
- Create and check General Arrangement Drawings.
- Create and check Technical Drawings.
- Create and check relates documentation for Mounting Department.
- Create spreadsheets in excel.
- Create calculation files in Python.
- Work with focus on sub supplier and production satisfaction.
- To constantly strive to deliver to the expected spec, cost, and time.
- Know the value stream for projects in NOV.
- Deliver on time.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude and contributes to and promotes improvements.
- Continuously seek to improve competitiveness and cost awareness using appropriate tools LEAN/Kaizen.
- Actively work with personal- and team goals to support department goals.
- Carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
- Technical Formation in Mechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or related areas.
- At least 2 years of designer experience in the Oil and Gas or other energy industry.
- Skilled user in 2D and 3D modeling.
- Experience in development and qualification projects is desirable.
- Skilled user of CREO 2D and 3D modeling is desirable.
- Skilled user of Python is desirable.
