Responsibilities: The Opportunity


Leads raw materials sourcing validation for Oils, potato, corn, cornmeal, and flours for all Andean, Brazil and So Co portfolio .


Leads business continuity across the region assuring raw materials supply and regulatory compliance. Leads and set productivity agenda for ABS portfolio. Provide technical solutions for innovation projects through continuous search and evaluation of ingredients within the same categories, as well as collaborate to define an ingredients strategy involving Supplier´s development for the specified raw materials.

Your Impact

• Leads all raw materials programs for Brazil, Andean and So Co Operating Units in LATAM for Foods categoory, while ensures all validations protocols are in full compliance and validated accordingly.
• Leads the validation of alternate suppliers to ensure business continuity in case of contingencies for the same categories. This deliverable considers coordinating laboratory prototypes and manufacturing scale up applications to determine performance on finished products.
• Lead evaluate and execute/coordinate productivity projects to deliver savings, mainly through raw materials cost reduction for Foods portolio. The role is accountable for providing consultation, making decisions, and executing actions. Procurement team and Product development team are the main groups impacted
• Provides support in case of production plant contingencies regarding raw materials in the mentioned categories. i.e. variances & concessions.
• R&D Point person with procurement and operations to set and deliver productivity agenda for AOP and PSP.
• Develop business continuity plans for key raw materials such as Oils, corn, potato, flours, cornmeal, N&S.
• Provide technical solutions for Lat Am Savory innovation projects through continuous search and evaluation of ingredients within the same category.
• Work closely with vendors to adjust and/or optimize ingredients specifications to guarantee the quality of the raw materials and showcase their capabilities and knowledge to the rest of the R&D group.

Qualifications: Who Are We Looking For?

• Food Engineering, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Engineering bachelor’s degree;
• Manufacturing processes knowledge;
• Product development;
• Advanced English and Spanish;
• Unit operations such as drying, frying, seasoning, and packaging;
• Knowledge on raw materials functionality.
