A DAY IN THE LIFE OF
We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team! In this role, you will support our month-end close processes and will be pivotal in collecting, verifying, and analyzing the company’s financial information and assisting in the preparation of our financial reports. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and have experience with general accounting operations within the Saa S industry. In this role, you will report directly to our Senior Accounting Manager.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Champion our customer invoicing procedures and reporting deliverables
• Recognize revenue for our revenue streams across our entities
• Support our month-end close processes including cash, accounts receivable, prepaids, fixed assets, accounts payable, accruals, allocations, and intercompany accounts
• Assist with our monthly financial reporting close procedures in accordance with US GAAP, including preparation and/or detailed review of journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliations
• Partner with cross-functional business partners to foster working relationships, assist in implementing best practices, support digital transformation initiatives, and collaborate for continuous process improvements to ensure operational excellence and scalability
• Facilitate audit requests from external auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed

WHAT YOU’LL ADD TO DUDA

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or a related field
• Must speak, read and write fluently in English as the Company operates in English worldwide and this role will work closely with our US offices
• Team player, friendly, approachable, and likes to have fun while working hard!
• Strong analytical and accounting skills with an understanding of US GAAP
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with large volumes of data with speed and accuracy
• High-level personal excellence and accountability, and proven ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
• Proficiency in ERP Systems (Net Suite preferred)
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability and interest to learn new systems and technologies
• CPA or equivalent professional accountant designation is a plus
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Experience operating within SOX control environment is a plus
