• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Amazon Financial Technology Team is looking for a results-oriented, driven software development engineer to work in our Software Development Center in Sao Paulo, who can help us create the next generation of distributed, scalable financial systems. A Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Amazon works on real world problems on a global scale, owns their systems end to end and influences the direction of our technology that impacts hundreds of millions of customers around the world. Key job responsibilities

• Develop projects through the entire software life cycle, from requirement assessment and service design to interface creation, code development, rigorous testing, and final deployment for our tax customers.
• Evaluate, recommend, and leverage a diverse array of AWS technologies, including Lambda, Fargate, EMR, SNS/SQS, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Red Shift, S3, and other cutting-edge tools to architect and construct highly scalable technical solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within our projects.
• Design and code technical solutions using Java, Spark, Python, Java Script, Type Script, and various other programming languages to deliver substantial value to our clientes.
• Build iteratively using agile methodologies.
• Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience with AWS is a plus
