Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using Java Script, HTML, and CSS, to server-side code using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET for data persistence and retrieval

• Significant experience in the Canadian / US Banking Industry, and well versed with the Banking Terminologies & Products (Accounts – Savings / Chequing, Registered / Non-Registered, Bill Payments, Interac, etc.)

• Must be conversant in writing SQL queries, stored procedures. Good to have Azure SQL database experience.

• Analyze and understand user requirements and ensure that they are incorporated into software designs and code

• Review peers’ code to enforce good software design standards and ensure high-quality function and performance

• Perform extensive software testing, debugging, and full validation procedures

• Resolve software bugs in the programming code and modify write-ups as necessary

• Update existing applications, correcting errors, adapting to new hardware, or improving performance

• Participate in agile software development, SCRUM, and daily standups to ensure quick iterations and fast delivery

• Experience in working on Azure Cloud platform and building CI/CD pipelines.

• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve software products

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related courses.

• 6+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.

• Strong experience with .Net Core and Angular.

• Strong experience in the banking industry and CA/US localization.

• Experience with SQL DBs and Azure Cloud.

About the role:

• Full-time job - 40h/week.

• Independent Contractor.
