The project:

• We are seeking a skilled Oracle Simphony & Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, customization, and integration of cutting-edge Point of Sale (POS) systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in configuring Oracle Simphony, developing Java-based solutions, and integrating systems to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and customize Oracle Simphony POS to meet client-specific needs.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and middleware for integrating Simphony with other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, analytics platforms, etc.).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Build and maintain RESTful or SOAP APIs for seamless data exchange between Simphony and third-party systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Oracle Simphony and its integrations.

• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of developed solutions.

• Document all development processes, customizations, and configurations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Fluent English (both written and spoken) is required, as you will be working with an international team.

• 6+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in enterprise environments.

• Proven experience with Oracle Simphony, including configuration, customization, and API usage.

• Strong proficiency in Java, with experience in frameworks like Spring or Hibernate.

• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and SOAP-based web services.

• Familiarity with database management, preferably Oracle Database or SQL Server.

• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

About the role:

• Working hours: 40 hours per week.

• Project duration: Long-term.

• Primary location: Remote in Brazil.
