Sr. Oracle EBS Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Developer with extensive experience in Oracle EBS - App Admin and Oracle Database Administration. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. Experience in Cards and Payments domain is a plus. The role does not require travel.
Responsibilities

Oversee the administration and maintenance of Oracle EBS applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications to resolve issues promptly.
Manage Oracle Database Administration tasks including installation configuration and upgrades.
Ensure database security and integrity by implementing best practices and regular audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries to enhance system efficiency.
Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
Conduct regular backups and recovery operations to safeguard data.
Implement and manage database replication and disaster recovery strategies.
Provide guidance and support to junior developers and database administrators.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry trends to ensure the use of best practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions that align with business goals.

Qualifications

Possess strong experience in Oracle EBS
App Admin and Oracle Database Administration.
Demonstrate proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization.
Exhibit knowledge of database security practices and disaster recovery planning.
Show experience in managing and supporting large-scale database environments.
Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Display strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Nice to have experience in the Cards and Payments domain.
Show adaptability to work in a hybrid model and manage day shift responsibilities.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Show commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet business needs.
Have a track record of successfully managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Extensive experience in Oracle EBS 12.2.x and Oracle databases 19.x administration including but not limited to patching, cloning, upgrades, installations, and implementations.

Good knowledge on supporting Oracle technology in highly available and multiple node configurations.
Knowledge in Oracle RAC, Oracle Dataguard, Java Web Start, Securing EBS and PKI
Basic understanding of Data Replication, Clustering, High Availability, etc.
Participate in the evaluation, selection and implementation of DBA tools to improve the effectiveness of tasks such as performance monitoring and tuning, recovery, and database change management processing.
Provide technical expertise and hands-on support in consolidation and migration of databases to new hardware and platforms.
Install, configure, monitor, upgrade and maintain MSSQL and Postgre SQL databases in production and non-production environments.
