Talent Acquisition Manager Latin America – Contract Logistics

The Global TA team for Contract Logistics is newly created within the wider TA function due to the significant growth that Maersk is experiencing in this sector. In this role you will lead all recruitment activity across Latin America for our Warehouse and Distribution organisation including frontline warehouse associates, first, middle, and final mile driving, warehouse management and regional leadership hiring.
The Opportunity:
You will lead a blended hiring team of directly employed and outsourced recruiters who deliver recruitment initiatives across Latin America with a particular focus on our key growth markets of Chile, Peru and Brazil. In this role you will focus on hiring solutions for complex new warehouse and depot openings alongside recruitment for our our existing sites and offices. You will also partner with the global TA Contract Logistics leadership team to develop broader hiring strategies as well as working with the People Function in Latin America to continue to enhance our overall employee experience in the region.
The role will ideally be based in Brazil, Peru or Chile. We operate a flexible work policy, but to ensure you are well connected with our operations and key business and HR stakeholders it would be required to work 3 days per week in our offices or warehouses.

For this you will:
- In conjunction with the Global Head of TA for Contract Logistics help shape the short-, medium- and long-term strategy for TA in Latin America ensuring we develop ways of working, systems and processes that support high volume frontline recruitment as our business continues to scale.
- Build trusted partnerships with regional business and HR stakeholders within our Logistics organisation; understand and cater to the hiring demands, capabilities, and knowledge requirements & gaps.
- Lead the delivery of a seamless recruitment process to the Contract Logistics organisation including management of complex new site openings across Latin America.
- Generate brand recall for Maersk as an Employer of Choice by driving and supporting the talent attraction strategy catering to varied candidate segments
- Lead a team of TA Recruitment Partners and Recruiters and deliver high quality recruitment deliverables on time
- Manage and develop TAA team to deliver against recruitment KPIs; catering to global standards and critical business needs
- Talent Advisor to the business on talent demographics, market, and competitor intelligence
As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:
- Deep knowledge of Contract Logistics and high-volume warehouse and distribution hiring with experience of project managing new site launches.
- Proven experience of developing sourcing and attraction strategies and campaigns specifically for warehouse and depot hiring.
- Experience utilising multiple data sources to help impact business decisions and advise senior stakeholders.
- Experience in hiring and onboarding talent in multiple countries and understands the complexity of different hiring challenges across Latin America.
- Thought partnership, detail & result orientation, communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills
- Structured working style and focus on delivering results as per agreed timescales and scope
- Flexibility and adaptability to operate in a fast-paced growth environment, taking ownership and setting directions with minimal guidance.
- Collaborative working style, fostering cooperation and teamwork in a matrixed environment to find solutions.
- Proficiency in English language and ideally fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
