Billing and Accounts Receivable Manager

A bit about the role…
As the Billing and Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing processes and accounts receivable functions within the organization. You will manage a dedicated team, ensure efficient and accurate billing practices, and handle escalations related to customer billing inquiries. Your role is critical in improving processes, managing collections, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.WHO YOU ARE:

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in billing and accounts receivable management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

You possess strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing a team of 5 or more.

You have excellent communication skills and are adept at managing escalations and interacting effectively with both internal teams and external customers.

You are experienced in improving processes and implementing changes effectively.

You are proficient in financial software and systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Billing Management:
-
Manage all escalations related to billing inquiries from the Customer Success team and directly from customers.
-
Lead and implement improvements in billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
-
Oversee and manage a team consisting of two billing analysts and one revenue analyst, ensuring their effective performance, professional development, and adherence to company policies.

Accounts Receivable Management:

Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, including scheduling and leading team meetings to align on priorities and track progress.

Review and analyze collection tracker figures prior to AR meetings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting.

Prepare and manage the weekly AR meetings with senior management, providing insights and updates on the status of collections and outstanding invoices.

Oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, including scheduling and leading team meetings to align on priorities and track progress.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements within both billing and accounts receivable functions to optimize workflow and increase accuracy.

Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Success, and Operations, to ensure smooth communication and resolve any issues related to billing and AR.
